Mic Buddy is built by NGSMedia LLC, a small team of speakers, coaches, and engineers who got tired of the gap between "I should practice my talk" and "I have a 30-minute slot, alone, with my phone, right now." This app closes that gap.
The honest origin story
A friend's wedding. A best-man speech that ran 11 minutes. Three "ums" per sentence. A room of 200 people doing the polite-smile thing.
Afterward, in the parking lot, the speaker said the line every speaker eventually says: "I should have practiced more."
We checked the App Store. The serious tools cost too much. The free ones tracked steps, not speech. The good ones were behind enterprise sales calls.
So we built the app we wanted: instant feedback on filler words, pace, and clarity. Free to start. Designed for the night before, not the boardroom Monday.
